At a company event, your people should spend the evening with clients, not at the door. Event hostesses take over the welcome, the guest list and the questions, so the event runs and your team can host. We supply hostesses for corporate events of every size in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Corporate events we staff
Product launches. Welcome and registration at the door, guests guided to the reveal, and promoters or brand ambassadors to talk about the product.
Company dinners and staff parties. Guest list check, seating and a cloakroom, so the night starts smoothly.
Client receptions and networking evenings. A warm welcome, name badges and a host who can point guests to the right people.
Seminars and company meetings. A small registration desk, directions to the room and support for the speaker. For bigger programmes, see conference hostesses.
Motor shows and sports hospitality. Hostesses for hospitality areas, guest lists and brand presence.
What a corporate event hostess does
- Greets guests and checks them against your list.
- Hands out badges, programmes and gifts.
- Guides guests to the right room, table or area.
- Supports your event manager with timings and small problems.
- Looks after VIP guests if you have them. See VIP hostesses.
Picking the right team size
Count the entrances, the tasks and the peak moments. One hostess per entrance at arrival time, plus one for the cloakroom or the VIP area, is a useful start. For teams of six or more, a team leader manages the rota and breaks and talks to your event manager, so you have one contact on site.
Short bookings and long days
A reception may need only a few hours, and half days are fine. A launch day with setup, a press slot and an evening event runs longer. Typical shifts run 8 to 10 hours with a paid break.
Before the event
Send the guest list, the running order and the name of your contact on the day. Tell us the dress code you want, or the branded pieces you will supply. Some hotels ask for staff names in advance for security, so ask your venue early.
Languages
In Dubai we supply English and Arabic speakers. Other languages are available on request if your guests travel in from abroad.
